David Alfred ("Dai") Llewellyn, (b. Bridgend 1890, d.1930) was a policeman in the Glamorganshire Constabulary prior to joining the Military Foot Police in December 1915.He served in Egypt, believed to have been stationed in Helouan (Helwan), near Cairo, and his duties included guarding Ottoman Turk prisoners of war.He later served on the Western Front, no date given.(Some of the details of the photographs have been provided by the donor).
